Ceremonious Interruptus Continuous

Just at the moment Father Eric begins to declare Nick and Gabi to be man and wife, Dimpled Chad proclaims the wedding is a sham.  "Why don't we just tell the truth?" he shouts.  Pointing his finger directly at Nick, "you are not the father of this baby!".  While Hope is trying to shush Chad and get him out the door, Nick accuses Chad of flipping out because he lost Melanie.

Chad then adds that Gabi is a "lying slut" which did not set well with Rafe.  Rafe lunges at Chad and tries this weird reach-over-the-back move and then, to use the law enforcement term, escorts Chad to the prone position.

Pedophile in training Eric reminds everyone that the church has zero tolerance for violence.  Hope manages to push Chad into the hallway where she calls one of her cop buddies to come and take him into custody.  The charge:  breaching the peace.  Typical cop.

Who's Zoomin' Who

Meanwhile, back at the now-almost-over ceremony, Nick tries to console a sobbing Gabi, telling her that everything will be OK (yeah, right).  When he asks Father Eric to continue the ceremony, Eric says "I can't" and tries to get a moment with Nick and Gabi in private.  A despondent Will steps in and says "the truth will come out".

Outside in the hallway, Rafe and Hope are giving Chad the 3rd degree.  Chad is in wiseguy mode, dressed in true Mafioso style:  shark skin suit, no tie and black shirt.  Anyway, Chad tells Rafe and Hope that he overheard Gabi talking to a doctor at the hospital saying she knew Nick wasn’t the baby’s father and that she doesn't care.  Rafe called BS on Chad and asks Chad if he's the father of the baby.  Chad denies he is and then accuses Gabi's stalker, Andrew.

The Truth Shall Set Us Free

Even with Nick trying to convince Eric to proceed with the ceremony, Eric holds his ground and repeats that he wants to talk to Nick and Gabi privately.  Lost puppy Will eventually cowboys up and admits to being the father.  We then see the old "bride running from the church in her wedding gown" gig as Gabi exits rapidly in tears.

Nick tries to go after her but Maggie grabs his arm and holds him back.  The strapping twenty-something is apparently over-powered by senior citizen Maggie and begs her to let him go.  Will rushes over to Sonny and offers an explanation but Sonny won't hear of it.  "This won't change things between us...", says Will.  Sonny angrily counters, "It already has!", and storms off.  In the hallway Sonny sees Rafe and Hope and tells them that it's all true.

The Receiving Line

Chad stands in the hallway outside the ceremony, taking his lumps from all that go past.  First Sonny gives him a piece of him mind followed by Victor who's not a big DiMera fan anyway.  Next, Abigail reads Chad the riot act followed immediately by Jennifer who tells Chad she despises what he'd done.  "But it's good", Jennifer added, "because Abby got to see the real you - before it's too late.".  Ouch.

Back at the ceremony-no-longer, Hope tells Nick that she really wished he and Gabi had thought things through.  An exasperated Nick countered, "We thought and we thought and we thought, until it came down to what's best for this baby".

Love Is What Matters

Rafe wondered why Gabi hadn’t come to him. Nick said that Gabi didn’t think he would have accepted the truth. He went on about Will taking Gabi to get an abortion and how Gabi couldn’t go through with it. It was then that they concocted this plan. Nick square off to Rafe and says he will always be there for Gabi. Rafe dismisses him and walks away.  Hope questions Nick about what he and Gabi had done. “Gabi and I love each other, and we love this baby,” said Nick. “That’s what really matters.”

With her exquisite sense of timing and overall tact, Kate tried to break her business agreement with Nick. He reminded her they had a contract, but that she was welcome to buy him out. Whatever.  Nick explains that there's someone else he needs to see and leaves the ceremony.  Outside in the hallway he get in Chad's face, promising revenge.  He leans forward and says in a hushed voice, "you won't even see me coming".

Poor Sonny

The next scene finds Victor at the Coffee Bean where Sonny is clearing tables.  Victor declares the wedding chaos meter was at a full seven, attempting to use wry humor to console his nephew.  Victor observes Sami's reaction as "history repeating itself" while Sonny serves him a "grande double-shot Sumatra".  He tells Sonny it was better he learned the truth about Will before it's too late.  Sonny points that it's already to late.

Father Knows Best

Lucas chases down Will to have a little father-to-father chat.  Will protests the delay (was he handcuffed to a tree or something?) and that he must find Sonny.  Lucas starts the forget-about-Sonny-your-child-is-more-important lecture. Will doesn't see it that way and feels like he, Gabi and Nick did what was best for the baby.

Wedding Planner Irony

Finally we cut to Gabi who is sobbing in bride's room.  Enter Sami, the resident marriage and family expert.  She's livid, accusing Gabi of trying to "guilt Will out of his own child".  Gabi attempts to defend her actions but Sami rails on her, calling her a "lying manipulative bitch" - a comment overheard by Rafe who just entered the room.  He basically tells Sami to shut her trap but she continues to go off on Gabi.

Finally, Rafe reveals that Will had taken Gabi to an abortion clinic.  Save Gabi’s change of heart, there would have been no bambino.   Stepping up and in her face, Rafe tells her “Fact is Sami, your son wanted this baby gone".  Clearly, Sami was the Biggest Loser in this fight.

Here We Go Again - Sami & Rafe

Yes, it's true - Sami and Rafe are getting hot and heavy.  Just as they were about to start doing the Wild Thing, Hope shows up.  Talk about bad timing!

So Rafe splits and Hope starts giving Sami the 3rd degree about what she and Rafe were up to.  Hope was thilled to hear that Sami and Rafe are back in the saddle.

Surprise, Surprise

When Chad told Sonny that he was planning to attend Nick and Gabi’s wedding, Sonny was a bit confused.  Chad went on and on about how happy he was for the bride and groom but Sonny was like "Yeah, right....".

Lucas just about fell over when he saw Kate.  She proclaims, “The bitch is back!” ("Stone cold sober as a matter of fact...") an obvious shot at Cloe and the recent situation with Parker.  Lucas seemed genuinely happy for Daniel.  An possible side effect:  perhaps Daniel would stay away from Jennifer.

Chloe Finds an Ally

Chloe arrives at the hospital unannounced, wanting to see Daniel.  She asks him to suggest a good pediatrician for his son, Parker and then works her way into asking him to go for coffee. Daniel stammers his way out of the invitation indicating he's got a lunch date with Jennifer. Totally-pissed-off-without-showing-it Chloe acts as if that's OK.

Later, Chloe was eavesdropping on Anne who was dissing Jennifer big time.  Thinking she's found a kindred spirit, Chloe immediately asks her to get a cup of coffee with her.

Bachelor Number One

Abigail asks Jennifer for details about her date with Daniel and she admits that it could have been better.  Abigail is also worried that her Mom might get the boot now that Chloe is in town and Daniel and super-hot Chloe have a son together.  Jennifer dismisses her concern and says that she and Daniel "will be fine".  Yeah, right.

Sometime later Daniel shows up and tells Jennifer that he loves her.  He says he'd understand if Jennifer wants nothing to do with him now that he's got a toddler.  She tells him "whenever you turn around, I'll be there...".  They make plans for a "shopping date" because Daniel's crib doesn't have a crib.

Must Be the Clouds in my Eyes

Meanwhile, at the Kiriakis mansion, Chloe, Victor and Maggie watch as Parker and Daniel have a group hug.  Philip had wanted to change Parker’s name, according to Chloe.  His full name is now Parker Daniel Jonas.  Hearing that, Daniel had to wipe away a tear.

She Gotta Be Crazy

Gabi invites Will to be the baby's godfather but Nick is clearly not on board.  Will was wondering if Nick wants him completely out of the pictures but Nick explains that it would be impossible for Will to be around the baby and always hide the truth.  Will seemed to understand.

I'm Gettin' Married in the Morning...

Sometime after that, Abigail is at the church preparing Gabi for the big event.  Sami, whose had about a million failed marriages, shows up and offers her blessing.  While Nick is commending Will for his unselfishness, Rafe's gets buzzed up by Mom who wants to talk to Gabi and tells her she is excited about the baby.

Moments later, Victor, Maggie and Caroline arrive at the church.  Maggie expresses her gratitude to Caroline for giving Nick a job even though he is a felonious scum-bag.  Sonny tells Will he can't wait to dance with him (vertically, that is).  The ceremony got to Rafe and Sami who, acting as though they both have experienced a blow to the head, talk about starting over again.

Later in the hallway outside the service, Hope advises Jennifer to believe Daniel's commitment to their relationship.  Jennifer says that she is certain that blue-eyed-great-hair-awesome-figure Chloe couldn't possibly get between her and Daniel.

Ceremonius Interruptus

Down the aisle they come;  the flower girl chucking rose petals everywhere followed by Will and Abigail arm-in-arm.  Gorgeous Gabi, escorted by brother Rafe approaches Nick who looks totally in love.  Eric, bad guy turned pedophile in training, presides over the bride and groom.  Things couldn't be better.

But at the very moment Eric was to pronounce the couple husband and wife, Chad "Bugsy" DiMera stood up to say:

“If this marriage is about love and truth, then shouldn’t Gabi be marrying the real father of her baby?”

A audible gasp comes over the crowd.
